Cesar combines broad energy industry experience with deep expertise in strategy and operations to deliver transformation, portfolio optimization and process improvement.
Cesar is a Principal at Arthur D. Little in the Mexico City office, and works across the Organization, Strategy and Transformation, Operations Management, and Energy Practices.
His work focuses on:
- Strategy and portfolio optimization
- Organizational design and transformation
- Conflict resolution transaction support services (negotiation, market intelligence, due diligence)
- Project management offices and management systems
- Operations management
Although his focus has been on the oil & gas and the utilities industries, Cesar also has experience in the financial services, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and metals industries, as well as the public sector.
Cesar participates in Arthur D. Little’s National Oil Company Competence Centre and Ambidextrous Organization Benchmarking Study, and has co-authored ADL viewpoints and management system methodologies. His rigorous and entrepreneurial spirit has enabled him to lead projects on North, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.
Before joining Arthur D. Little, he founded and led Bremass Energy Advisors, a firm specializing in transformation and management systems for the oil & gas industry. Previously, he was a manager at Schlumberger Business Consulting in Houston and a senior associate at CRA in Boston and Bahrain. He is a visiting professor of negotiation at ITAM’s MBA program in Mexico City. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French. He enjoys yoga, cooking and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
