Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced that Dr. Patrick Linnenbank has been appointed as a Partner in its Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. An expert in the strategic interface between healthcare provision and technology, Patrick is based in the company’s Riyadh office. He is a member of the Middle East Partner group and leads the Global Digital Health & Life Sciences Capability Center.
Patrick started his career as a medical doctor, with a focus on Emergency Medicine & Forensics. Following the completion of an MBA, he moved into the consulting industry and in 1999 joined Bain & Company, spending 12 years there as Partner in the TMT (Technology, Media & Telecoms) practice and member of both the Healthcare and Private Equity leadership teams. He subsequently worked as an independent consultant and ran his own cybersecurity business. Immediately prior to joining ADL, Patrick was Client Director at Eden McCallum, and he continues to sit on the board of several technology-related ventures.
Ulrica Sehlstedt, Global Leader of ADL’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice, comments: “We’re very pleased to have appointed Patrick as a Partner, as his breadth and diversity of experience really reflects ADL’s cross-disciplinary ethos. His background in frontline medicine gives him tremendous insight into the realities of healthcare provision while his in-depth knowledge of the technology and security markets enables him to develop strategic solutions for clients that have a genuinely transformative impact.”
Dr. Patrick Linnenbank, Partner at ADL, adds: “What I particularly like about ADL is both its entrepreneurial spirit and the flexibility of its global team structure. Healthcare is an incredibly important and dynamic sector, something which the COVID-19 pandemic has really emphasized, and the consulting industry must keep pace with the challenges it faces – a rigid, programmatic approach just won’t work. I look forward to continuing to help our clients to transform the way they work, both digitally and organizationally, and ultimately deliver improved patient outcomes.”
Patrick holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and a Medical Degree from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
